Hi, I’m Linda Raynier.

My story starts with my parents, who fled Vietnam as refugees after the war, seeking a better life in Toronto, Canada, where I was born and raised.

I grew up as an introverted but driven "good girl," following the lesson drilled into me from day one: “Put your head down, work hard, and success will come.” So that’s exactly what I did.

I got straight A’s, and even became the valedictorian at my high school graduation.

At the same time, I’ve always considered myself intuitive and highly sensitive. I can read and sense the energy of those around me and this gift has led me down a lifelong path of deep inner healing and self-discovery.

Initially, I chose what I thought was the "safe" path—a stable career in accounting. My first big corporate job was at a prestigious Big 4 firm. I was in my early 20s, and up until then, I hadn’t really tasted failure.

But that changed with the CPA exams. I failed them. Again and again. While my then-boyfriend (now husband and father of our two boys) passed his exams effortlessly, I felt stuck, defeated, and completely drained. My self-worth hit rock bottom.

Meanwhile, my job as an auditor was slowly sucking the life out of me. Those late nights during busy season, huddled over my laptop and eating bland, take-out chilli from a styrofoam bowl for dinner— still haunt me to this day.

Finally, after what felt like an eternity, I passed my CPA. But by then, I knew I needed a change. I made a life-altering decision to leave the accounting world and become a recruiter. And for the first time in my career, I didn’t feel inadequate or stuck—I thrived.

I helped hundreds of professionals land their dream jobs, and in doing so, I discovered my true gift: helping people unlock their career potential.

Then in 2016, I took another leap and started my YouTube channel as a Career Strategist and Speaker. I shared everything I knew about job searching, interviews, and resumes.

Today, that channel has grown to nearly a million subscribers, and I’ve helped thousands of people around the world elevate their careers.

I’m also a LinkedIn Learning instructor and have spoken on stages at major conferences, and my name has appeared in Forbes, NY Post, and CPA Pivot Magazine.

During COVID years, I gave birth to my sons back to back (yup, 2020 and 2021). I took some time to not only take care of them, but my husband who at the time had a major health scare. (He’s now dubbed a ‘miracle’ by his doctors, and is happy and healthy!)

Through my own journey and years of experience, I’ve learned something crucial: the key to career success isn’t just about what you know, but about how well you can communicate your value.

I’ve seen too many talented professionals miss out on opportunities—not because they weren’t capable—but because they couldn’t convey their worth in a way that made them stand out.

When you own your value, everything shifts. You stop chasing success, and instead, you start attracting it.
